Parks and Facilities

John C. Norman Park

At the center of our community is a large park dedicated to John C. Norman - a former member and valued servant to our community.

This park has a large baseball and playing field, playground, tennis court, and basketball courts.

"Orange" Park (Play Area)

This quaint park lies in the southern area of our community on a hill just above Snohomish Cascade Dr.

It has a playground and small field - great for a picnic!

Tennis Courts

Along with the tennis court at the John C. Norman Park, an additional tennis court is located on the opposite side of Snohomish Cascade Dr. - just a little bit north of the main park.

Basketball Courts

In addition to the courts at the main park, another basketball court is located near the intersection of Snohomish Cascade Dr. and 65th Ave. SE

Park Usage and Maintenance

The park areas in Gold Creek are maintained by the Gold Creek Homeowners' Association and are open for general use. When using the park areas, please observe all rules and follow the park usage signs posted at the basketball and tennis courts. To reserve or schedule the baseball diamond, basketball, tennis courts or surrounding field areas of the parks for any team practices or events, please contact our property manager.

Native Growth Protection Area / Greenbelts

The greenbelts in our neighborhood are protected native growth areas. Grass clippings, yard debris, and household trash can smother vegetation and may pollute surface or groundwater. DO NOT dump anything in the greenbelts. Please do not allow your children to build any structures (forts) in these areas. In addition, the street and yard drains discharge into local area streams and wetland systems. These drains should not be used to dispose of any chemicals, fertilizers, or oil.

Many of the greenbelts have trails for you to enjoy all that nature as to offer.

Fences

The common areas, along the main streets, are bordered by fencing that is the responsibility of the association. We would like to maintain this fencing in good condition and with a consistent color. With the new fence replacement, we now have a dark brown stain applied.

Contact us for any comments, suggestions, or need to now further information on the fence stain color. Also, please contact us if you notice any damage to or graffiti on our fences.
